Why Choose LIGO Guidewires

Our guidewires are made of high-quality materials and subjected to strict quality control to ensure excellent performance.

High Flexibility
Versatility

LIGO provides a comprehensive range of guidewires for one-stop sourcing, covering from 0.008″ to 0.038″ diameters, from 45 cm to 260 cm lengths, and different tip shapes, such as straight, angled and J-tip, including different stiffness, such as super stiff.

Superior Absorption
Consistent Performance

Made of high-strength stainless steel and super-elastic Nitinol, our guidewires provide excellent pushability and kink resistance, ensuring smooth passage through complex vascular pathways and maintaining stable performance.

Low Adhesion
Precise Positioning

Our guidewires provide excellent steerability to help doctors accurately locate the lesion. Some guidewires have radiopaque coils (such as platinum alloys, tungsten, etc.) to enhance visibility.

Stable Quality Performance
Safety

In order to reduce the risk of tissue damage and complications, our guidewire tips are all atraumatically designed to ensure that they minimize damage within the passage into the pathways and patient safety.

High-Performance Core Wire: Nitinol & Stainless Steel Guidewires

To meet different surgical requirements, LIGO provides guidewire solutions made of stainless steel and Nitinol alloy core wires, which are suitable for application scenarios such as delicate cardiovascular interventional procedures and high-intensity urology procedures.

LIGO super-elastic nitinol guidewires have excellent flexibility and kink resistance, which can maintain the shape of the tip well during the operation and are smoother during the intravascular rotation.

Our stainless steel guidewires have strong stiffness and support, which are suitable for large vessels and surgeries requiring extremely strong pushability.

We also offer hybrid guidewires that combine the advantages of Nitinol and stainless steel.

LIGO High-Performance Coated Guidewires

High-Performance Coated Guidewires

Coating can improve the performance of guidewires in various complex interventional procedures. We offer a variety of coated guidewires to choose from, including hydrophilic coating and PTFE coating.

The hydrophilic coating attracts water molecules upon hydration, forming a smooth gel on the surface of the guidewires, improving lubricity and reducing friction during intervention, thereby minimizing vascular damage.

PTFE coating can form a dry iubricious coating on the surface of the guidewires, which can reduce the friction of the guidewires. The frictional force of the PTFE coating is greater than that of the hydrophilic coating, which helps to enhance the tactile feedback of the clinician so that it can smoothly navigate through the complex blood vessels.

What is the function of the guidewire?

Guidewire is a medical device used by clinicians to enter human blood vessels or other parts of the body for interventional therapy. Its role is mainly to guide and support.

Do you provide guidewire samples?

Please contact us through the website or email, our professional team will provide you with suitable guidewire samples for you to check the performance of our products.

What certificate do you have for your guidewires?

All LIGO guidewires are ISO 13485 and CE certified. After rigorous tensile strength, torque transmission and radiographic performance testing, we ensure that each batch of guidewire performance meets international standards.

What is the shelf life of your guidewires?

Our guidewires are packaged in ethylene oxide (EO) sterilization, and each bag is marked with a lot number and expiration date. The shelf life of guidewires is usually 3 years under reasonable storage conditions.
